Insolvency practitioners and business turnaround specialists Wilson Field have granted a niche film, television and photographic company a new future.

Insolvency practitioners Kelly Burton and Joanne Wright from Sheffield-based Wilson Field were appointed as administrators to Wimbledon-based film company Decode late last year.

Decode, which provided filming and photographic equipment to television and film companies for media activity, had been the victim of a significant fraud and subsequently fell into arrears with tax liabilities, with HMRC issuing a winding-up petition.

Wilson Field sold the business and assets as a going concern in a pre-packed sale to London-based production company SW19, saving all eight jobs.
