Wilson Field back Neurocare Head Start race
Insolvency and turnaround experts Wilson Field is supporting the Neurocare Head Start race for the eighth year running.
The 5K fancy dress and fun run and-chip timed 10K run takes place at Rother Valley Country Park on May 7 and is expected to create hundreds of personal bests with its ultra-flat course.
A team of six runners from Wilson Field will join in the charity event with the company also sponsoring the team award.
Runner and Senior Consultant at Wilson Field Nigel Cordell said;
“This charity event is perfect for both first time runners and seasoned pros. The flat, chip timed 10k route, makes it perfect to secure a personal best but also makes for an easy run for a beginner trying running for the first time.
“The event, which we have been involved in for eight years now, has grown each year and is a chance to support a fantastic charity, and also raise additional sponsorship, in a family friendly atmosphere.”
Registration for the fully licensed and UKA affiliated Neurocare Head Start race, which includes a goody bag and medal, starts at 8.00am with the 10K event going off at 9.30am and the 5K at 11am.
10k runners must be 15 years or over on the day of the event and 5k runners must be over 12 years to complete competitively. Younger runners must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
