Insolvency specialist expands into Wales and South West

Wilson Field an insolvency and business turnaround specialist, are proud to be branching out to Wales and the South West, by opening three new offices in the region. The company has now established locations in Bristol, Cardiff and Swansea to continue its growth across the country.

The insolvency specialist work to recover businesses in financial trouble or insecurity, also offering debt solutions to companies and individuals. Last year, Wilson Field helped to save more than 1,500 jobs and 90 businesses across the UK.

With a head office in Sheffield, where the company was formed in 2001, The company employs more than 80 people and has offices in Leeds, Manchester and the West Midlands, with further offices planned in Preston and Lincoln.

Jon Law has been appointed to head the Wales and South West offices, with a team of four across the three locations. A solicitor and qualified as a licensed insolvency practitioner in 2005. He has extensive experience in dealing with a variety of personal and corporate appointments, said; 

“Wilson Field has a growing reputation in the Midlands, North West and Yorkshire for providing professional, independent business support. It’s our aim to build on this success by increasing the company’s presence in Wales and the South West.

“It’s vital to be based in the local market and Bristol, Cardiff and Swansea all have very individual professional networks and varying sector strengths.

“We have pulled together an experienced and knowledgeable group of people, who know the region very well. While it is a new territory for Wilson Field, it’s not for us and we are looking forward to using our contacts in the area to provide business support.

Also Hywel Casling has joined Wilson Field to manage the Cardiff office. Welsh speaking Hywel has worked in corporate and personal insolvency departments for several years.

Wilson Field’s Bristol office is at the Broad Quay House on Prince Street. While the Cardiff base is at Brunel House on Fitzalan Road and the Swansea branch is within the Metropole Chambers on Salubrious Passage.

Hence, Wilson Field is hosting a launch event at the Bristol office on 18th July.
